1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BingePile, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The Service

BingePile lets you track television shows and movies, keep a personal watch history, and share activity with people you choose to connect with. Catalog information and artwork are provided by third-party sources; we do not host or stream any video content.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be legally permitted to use the service where you live. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data from our systems.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you create in BingePile, such as comments, reactions, and your profile. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute it within the service so features like discussions and activity feeds can work. Don't post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringes anyone's rights — we may remove such content and suspend accounts that do.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, disrupt or overload our infrastructure, reverse engineer the app, scrape at scale, or use the service to distribute spam or malicious software.

6. Third-Party Services

BingePile relies on third-party providers for parts of its functionality, such as catalog data, infrastructure, and analytics. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms may apply to the data they provide.

7. Privacy

We collect only what the service needs to function: your account details, your library and activity, and anonymized usage analytics that help us improve the app. We do not sell your personal data. Crash reports and analytics may be processed by infrastructure providers on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimer & Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, or service interruptions. Catalog information may be incomplete or inaccurate.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app; continuing to use BingePile after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
